completed her MA in Dance Studies from the University of Roehampton and BA in Dance and English from Franklin and Marshall College. An emerging arts fundraising professional, she has had work experience at Gallim Dance and The Kennedy Center, among other arts organizations. Nicole is passionate about Curet Performance Project’s vision to engage with political and social issues and belief in dance’s power to create change.
Gabriela Rendon started to study Law at Universidad Católica de Guayaquil, Ecuador, where she has awarded with a scholarship due to her academic excellence. In 2006 she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina to continue her legal studies at "Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina" where she graduated in 2011. During her time in law school, she traveled for 2 semesters to study law at "Université Paris René Descartes" in Paris, France, as part of an exchange program for academic excellence. In 2012 Gabriela moved to New York to proceed with her other passion, of dance, while continuing her legal profession. Practicing immigration law, she has been volunteering for organizations such as Concerned Citizens of Queens, an organization addressing the rights of immigrants and she is also part of the Activist Alliance of the National Organization for Woman, the largest organization in the country advocating for women and girls rights. This year Gabriela will continue to expand her legal studies in Brooklyn Law School, where she was recently accepted for the Master of Laws with a Merit Scholarship.
