Curet Performance Project comes to Philadelphia for the first time! As part of it's current Season 5, CPP a contemporary Dance Company will be at The Whole Shebang on Sunday October 16th as part of a whole day residency.
The residency will include workshops, open rehearsal, development of a new project and a final in studio showing/performance.
Attend part of or ALL of the days residency and also take part in the performance.

3pm will be an open rehearsal for public to attend and observe the process of the companies choreographic development of new work Border Control: Are There Enough Walls Yet.
6pm will be a Moving Lines workshop open to dancers and non dancers. Cost of this workshop will be 20$ and participants will be able to perform what they develop through movement research at the later open studio showing.
(spaces are limited to 10 persons only/advance registration is recommended) All purchases are final and non refundable. You may however transfer the purchase, email firstname.lastname@example.org to give the name of the new attendee in your place.
Workshop description: Moving Lines, a focus on the exploration of walls and the human condition in response to conflict. As part of Curet's ongoing practice as research, the workshop will aid in the development of her newest work entitled "Boarder Control: Are There Enough Walls Yet?" As part of season 5 What Works II? Dancers and Movers are invited to workshop the new work and contribute to the production and development of the newest work. Contemporary movement vocabulary based with a strong focus on movement research.
7pm will be a public showing of the work for a small suggested donation of 5$, workshop participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to see the work.
