Formula I+II is a composition and contemporary movement workshop. As part of choreographer Megan Curet's investigation into systems and the moving body. Using afro rhythmic influence, and contemporary forms to tell the story of home.
Dancers are also introduced to composition methods as they investigate their own body stories of the home. The workshop is formed towards a final showing of rigorous movement investigation.
Part one I = composition formula.
Part two II = contemporary formula.
Together the dancers and choreographer build a dance. Or rather a home.
Workshop is geared towards pre/professional dancers and choreographers seeking to deepen their practice, research and investigation.
